It’s been an interesting day for New England Patriots uniforms.
The franchise rolled out its ‘Nor’easter’ alternate jerseys on Wednesday, drawing mixed reviews all around.

One player donning the Nor’easter in 2025 will be backup quarterback Tommy DeVito, formerly of the New York Giants, who was scooped up by the Patriots on Wednesday to be their QB3.
On Thursday, it was announced that DeVito will wear No. 16 in New England, per MassLive’s Mark Daniels.

DeVito has a 3-5 record as a starter in his career. In his first two NFL seasons, he tallied 1,358 passing yards and 8 touchdowns as a member of the Giants.
DeVito will have a chance to add to those numbers in 2025 if injuries befall Drake Maye and Joshua Dobbs.

Patriots fans are hoping that doesn’t happen, of course, but “Tommy Cutlets” will be waiting in the wings.
DeVito, 27, went 15-16 in college as a starting QB for both Syracuse and Illinois. A native of Cedar Grove, New Jersey, DeVito attended Don Bosco Prep.
DeVito was signed as an undrafted rookie by the Giants in April 2023.
