Liverpool have learned their path to the Champions League knockout stages as Arne Slot's side look to achieve a seventh crown in Europe's elite competition. The Reds will once again lock horns with Real Madrid and Trent Alexander-Arnold will face his former club after his move to Spain in the summer.
Inter Milan, Atletico Madrid, Eintracht Frankfurt, PSV Eindhoven, Marseille, Qarabag and Galatasaray make up the Reds' eight Champions League fixtures. The fixtures will be released before Saturday when the complexion for the campaign becomes clearer, with Liverpool looking to successfully defend their Premier League crown.
Summer signing Hugo Ekitike will face his former club Frankfurt, while there will be a repeat of last season's group stage encounter against PSV Eindhoven, who sold Cody Gakpo to Liverpool in 2023.
Alexander-Arnold will return to Anfield after his high-profile exit in the summer. The full-back ran down his contract before Los Blancos paid £10 million to release him early from his deal in time for their Club World Cup efforts in July.
Liverpool ran out 2-0 winners over the record Champions League holders last November with Alexis Mac Allister and Gakpo on target.

Former midfielder Xabi Alonso will return to Anfield in the dugout, after travelling with Bayer Leverkusen last season, this time in the hotseat of the Spanish giants.
Atletico Madrid and last season's Eredivisie champions PSV will also visit Anfield, alongside Azerbaijani minnows Qarabag.
There are some mouthwatering away fixtures with the Reds returning to the San Siro.
Ekitike will return to Frankfurt after his move from the Bundesliga club in the summer while there are trips to France and Turkey too.
In his debut season on Merseyside, Dutchman Slot led Liverpool to an unbeaten Group Phase campaign in the new-look competition. However, they were knocked out in the Round of 16 on penalties to eventual winners Paris Saint-Germain.
Liverpool's Premier League rivals, Chelsea, will face Bayern Munich, Atalanta, Napoli and Qarabag at Stamford Bridge.
They will travel to Barcelona, Benfica, Ajax and the Cypriot side Pafos.
Pep Guardiola's Manchester City will host Real, Villarreal, Bodo/Glimt and Monaco. Meanwhile, they face tricky trips to Borussia Dortmund, Bayer Leverkusen, Napoli and Galatasaray.
Top-flight title challengers Arsenal will host Inter, Club Brugge, Slavia Praha and Athletic Club. They will travel to Bayern Munich, Atletico Madrid, Olumpiacos and Kairat Almaty - who historically knocked out Celtic on penalties yesterday.
