PSG have been given an almighty tough draw for their Champions League title defense. Three months after the 5-0 filletting of Inter Milan in the UCL final, Les Parisiens will once again be tasked to beat the best to be the best, and sooner than they may think. The Champions League draw took place this Thursday evening at Monaco’s Garibaldi Forum, and former PSG centre-forward Zlatan Ibrahimovic conducted the draw alongside 2007 Ballon d’Or winner Kaka.

Like they did last year, PSG will face Vincent Kompany’s Bayern Munich during the league phase. Although this time, the tie will take place in the Parc des Princes. A mouth-watering away game at Barcelona also awaits for former FCB head coach Luis Enrique. The Ligue 1 and Champions League winners will host two Premier League clubs: Newcastle United and Tottenham Hotspur, who were seconds away from beating PSG in the UEFA Super Cup.
PSG’s last four remaining Champions League games in the league phase include outings against Athletic Bilbao, Atalanta, Bayer Leverkusen and Sporting CP, hardly European minnows…
