The Premier League returns on Saturday with Chelsea hosting West London rivals Fulham.
Enzo Maresca’s side have picked up four points from their opening two matches of the new season, and the Italian will be keen to see his side emerge victorious against the Cottagers.
Chelsea will face both Bayern Munich and Barcelona in the group phase of the Champions League, with the draw having taken place on Thursday.
Maresca will be keen to see his side mark their return to the competition by progressing into the knockout stages.
In the meantime, it appears that one of Chelsea’s forwards is on his way to Italy.
As per Fabrizio Romano, forward Christopher Nkunku has agreed a move to Serie A giants AC Milan.
The journalist claims that the two clubs have verbally agreed a deal that will see the France international swap London for Milan.
Nkunku is said to have agreed a five-year deal with the Italian side, with the formal steps now set to take place in the coming days.

The 27-year-old joined the Blues from German side RB Leipzig back in 2023 but was plagued by injuries during his debut season in London.
Last term his playing time was largely limited to the Europe Conference League and the domestic cup competitions, with the Frenchman starting just nine of Chelsea’s 38 Premier League games.
The forward featured for the Blues as they won the FIFA Club World Cup in the United States earlier this summer, but he hasn’t been involved in either of Chelsea’s two league games so far this term.
Romano claims that the agreed fee for the player is in the region of £30 million with add-ons, which would see Chelsea make a loss on a player that they paid around £52 million to sign two years ago.
