Leon Osman has urged Tyler Dibling to make a change after his Everton debut

Tyler Dibling came off the bench to make his Everton debut on Wednesday night against Mansfield Town.

David Moyes has seen his squad transformed from the decimated group he had at the start of July.

There is still time for further additions to be made at Everton, but the majority of the work has now been done by Angus Kinnear.

With just days left before the deadline, it is believed that Moyes is delighted with Everton’s transfer business so far.

The signing of Dibling marked a real coup for the Blues, who saw their patience in negotiations work to their advantage.

Everton fans were impressed with Dibling’s debut, but former player Leon Osman has already spotted something the youngster needs to change.

Dibling shared his excitement to play alongside Jack Grealish, but he will have to wait for this after replacing the 29-year-old.

It was only a taster for the 19-year-old, with Moyes set to slowly integrate the youngster into the fold.

Taking to social media, Osman shared his excitement at seeing Dibling brought on, but there was something he did not like.

Of course, the former Everton player was making light of the situation, with Dibling also competing with Grealish for who could wear their socks the lowest.

Moyes has set Dibling the target of making the England squad over the coming years, which shows just how highly rated the winger is.

It may take some time for Everton fans to see the best out of Dibling, but it was a positive to see him in action at the Hill Dickinson Stadium for the first time on Wednesday.

The £35m signing came on for the final 30 minutes of the game against the League One outfit.

Dibling did replace Grealish, but he played on his natural right side of the pitch.

It has been suggested that Southampton’s sell-on clause for Dibling is not 20 per cent, but it is actually much lower than the reported figure.

It was a solid half hour shift from Dibling, who came on at a time when Everton had not fully secured their place in the next round.

More is to come from the youngster, but he may have to wait for his full debut, with Everton facing Wolves at Molineux on Saturday.
