According to emerging reports, Chelsea and AC Milan have reached an agreement for the sale of Christopher Nkunku. The French forward is expected to sign a five-year deal at Casa Milan soon, in a deal expected to cost the Serie A side an initial €35 million.
The 27-year-old has struggled to impose himself in West London since he arrived from RB Leipzig in the summer of 2023 for a reported € 60 million fee. He scored 18 times and provided five assists in 63 games to help the Blues win the UEFA Conference League and Club World Cup.
While the French forward was initially tipped with a move to Bayern Munich on a loan with an obligation to be made permanent, the Rossioneri’s offer to sign him from Chelsea has seen him opt for a move South of the Alps instead.
Chelsea and Manchester United go back and forth on Alejandro Garnacho
Manchester United and Chelsea are negotiating a deal for Alejandro Garnacho, with the Red Devils holding out for a fee of around £50 million. The 20-time English champions believe the price reflects the value of the Argentine forward in the market, comparing him with Noni Madueke and Antony Elanga, who completed moves on this window.
Garnacho has been isolated from the Manchester United squad and lined up for sale after falling out with Ruben Amorim after the side’s Europa League final loss to Tottenham Hotspur. The Argentine forward has reportedly rejected potential moves to other Premier League teams and Saudi clubs during this transfer window.
Garnacho has reportedly agreed to personal terms with the West London outfit and has remained steadfast in his desire to move to London with them, despite interest in his services from other clubs. The Blues will look to complete the transfer for the forward in the coming days, with the transfer window set to slam shut soon.
