Man United winger Alejandro Garnacho set for Chelsea move

Chelsea have reached an agreement with Manchester United for the transfer of Alejandro Garnacho, football.london understands. Earlier this year, the Argentine winger was told by Ruben Amorim he could leave Old Trafford with a move to Stamford Bridge as his priority.

Attempts by Chelsea to sign him were made in the January transfer window but those were rebuffed. However, Garnacho has been set on joining the Blues with his wish now being granted.

He will sign a seven-year contract with the Blues and will cost £40 million as a fixed fee. United have also included a 10 per cent sell-on clause in the deal.

Enzo Maresca's side have already brought in Mamadou Sarr, Dario Essugo, Liam Delap, Joao Pedro, Jamie Gittens and Jorrel Hato this summer with Garnacho set to become their seventh summer signing.
