Almost anything can happen between now and the end of the transfer window, especially at Chelsea.

The transfer window is full of surprises and Chelsea are often capable of pulling off one or two when everyone least expects it.

Of course, there is zero chance of either Cole Palmer or Moises Caicedo leaving before next Monday’s deadline. Caicedo attracted a bit of interest from Al-Nassr towards the end of last season, but the midfielder is seen as untouchable at Chelsea.

One of Caicedo and Palmer’s teammates will also be staying at Stamford Bridge despite catching the attention of more than one Premier League club.

Trevoh Chalobah not for sale

It was recently claimed that Bournemouth made an approach for Trevoh Chalobah but had it rejected by Chelsea.

Chalobah has slowly become a very important player for Enzo Maresca, with sources telling The Athletic that the player is not for sale.

Earlier in the summer, BBC Sport reported that Palmer and Caicedo were the only ones in Maresca’s squad who were viewed as untouchable.

In the future, Chelsea could very well sell Chalobah. But as of now, the central defender appears to be on the not for sale list, which is not too much of a surprise following Levi Colwill’s injury.

Colwill is set to miss most of the season after having to undergo surgery on his ACL.

As well as Bournemouth, Crystal Palace have also been linked with Chalobah, who spent the first half of last season out on loan there.

Trevoh Chalobah’s teammates were surprised when club forced him out last year

It has been some turnaround for Chalobah at Chelsea. This time last year, Chalobah was getting ready to join Palace after being frozen out of Maresca’s first-team squad.

According to The Athletic, some of the England international’s teammates were surprised that the club were forcing him out of Stamford Bridge.

Fast forward to now, and Chalobah is needed more than ever with Colwill sidelined.
