BBC Sport pundit Chris Sutton has claimed that one Manchester City player “worries the life” out of him and should not be starting any time soon.
The Citizens began the season brightly with an emphatic 4-0 win away at Wolverhampton Wanderers.
However, Manchester City were brought back down to earth with a 2-0 loss at home to Tottenham Hotspur.
Chris Sutton expressed his concern over the £31million Man City player ahead of their Premier League meeting with Brighton & Hove Albion.

Chris Sutton says James Trafford situation ‘worries the life’ out of him
Sutton, writing on BBC Sport, explained how the goalkeeping situation with James Trafford is worrying him.
The pundit doesn’t think Trafford should be starting ahead of Ederson after the error he made against Spurs.
“Which Manchester City side will we see?” began Sutton.
“I said last week on Football Focus and Final Score that the goalkeeping situation with James Trafford worries the life out of me.
“I don’t think he should be playing ahead of Ederson, even if there is talk of Ederson leaving.”

What Manchester City have planned for James Trafford
Circumstances – and opinions – change very quickly in football.
After the win over Wolves, Trafford was praised for a very solid display. A week later, and he’s persona non grata among some fans and pundits after the Spurs loss.
Indeed, speculation has even surfaced regarding Trafford’s immediate future, with one report claiming Besiktas were after him.
Fabrizio Romano rubbished that report and stressed that Trafford is firmly in Man City’s plans this season.
Let’s face it – if Trafford plays against Brighton and does well, as he did against Wolves, this past week of criticism will largely be forgotten.
And besides – the £31million man is a young player who has only just joined City. There will often be some teething errors – the important thing is that he can turn a corner.
