Garnacho shows true colours with instant Instagram reaction as Man Utd ace nears Chelsea switch …

Manchester United attacker Alejandro Garnacho is set to join Chelsea in a £40 million deal, and the Argentine has wasted no time showing his true colours.

The Red Devils outcast immediately took to his Instagram account to remove ‘Manchester United’ from his bio on the social media platform.

Garnacho could have shown class by waiting until the deal is made official before doing so, but the petulant youngster does not care about things like that.

He has never hesitated to anger the fans, uploading a picture of himself wearing an Aston Villa jersey some weeks ago.

The 21-year-old angered some of his soon-to-be former teammates following his interview after the 1-0 Europa League final loss to Tottenham Hotspur.

Garnacho blasted their campaign and head coach Ruben Amorim for not starting him.

It proved to be the final straw as the Portuguese told him to find a new club afterwards.

He also cut a frustrated figure during the pre-season tour to Asia, blanking fans and refusing to grant interviews.

It is good that Man United have got rid of such a player, and his sale will come in handy as they look to balance the books.

He is regarded as an academy graduate having spent two years in their youth ranks following his arrival from Atletico Madrid in 2020.

A ten per cent sell-on clause included in the deal for Garnacho to join the Blues could also prove to be a smart decision going forward.

He will become the second member of the infamous bomb squad to leave Man United this summer after Marcus Rashford joined Barcelona on loan earlier in the summer.

Antony is also expected to seal a loan move to Real Betis for an initial £3m, with an obligation to buy for £33m set to be part of the deal.

Tyrell Malacia and Jadon Sancho are also facing uncertain futures at the Old Trafford club ahead of Monday’s transfer deadline, and loan exits could be on the cards for them.
