Leeds United have confirmed the exit of Patrick Bamford after seven years at Elland Road.
Bamford and Leeds have reached an agreement to terminate his contract, with the striker now free to join a new club on a free transfer.
The former England international joined the Whites from Middlesbrough in 2018, and, until last season, had been a key part of the team.
But in July, Daniel Fake confirmed that Bamford is not a part of his plans, following the signings of several new attackers at Elland Road.
Leeds signed Lukas Nmecha on a free transfer, and the German has been followed by the arrivals of Dominic Calvert-Lewin and Noah Okafor.

Patrick Bamford was an ‘unsung hero’ for Leeds
Middlesbrough are not looking to re-sign Bamford, despite the striker’s connection with the Championship club.
The 31-year-old arrived at Leeds following a strong spell at the Boro, with his best spell in white coming just two years later.
Bamford scored 17 goals and provided nine assists in the Premier League in the 2020/21 season, earning interest from the league’s top clubs, as well as his solitary England cap.
His performances earned him high praise from Leeds legend Jermaine Beckford, who described Bamford as an “unsung hero”.
“I think his movement is very clever,” the former striker said in 2019.

“He’s improved quite a bit in terms of his upper body strength from last season. When the ball comes into him, you can tell the guys around him have a lot of confidence in him because they’re starting to make a lot of movements off him.”
Patrick Bamford ‘gives us something else’
The 2023/24 season saw Bamford score eight goals and provide an assist for Leeds, despite a Championship season marred by injuries.
The striker’s involvement in the team was a topic of debate amongst fans, but Jon Newsome insisted that the forward was unique in the Leeds squad.
“He can do things for our team that nobody else in our squad can do,” the former defender explained to BBC Radio Leeds.
Jon Newsome played for Leeds between 1991 and 1994.
The defender made 84 appearances for the Whites and won the First Division in 1992.
“He has been underrated, he has been pilloried at times over the last couple of seasons and don’t get me wrong, the penalty he missed at Stoke and the chances he missed last season was frustrating for everybody and him.
“But he gives us something else that other people haven’t got and we are a better team with him in the side.”
Bamford split opinion in the latter years of his Leeds career, but the striker will be sorely missed for the memorable moments he created at Elland Road.
