Bears Star Shares Hilarious Reaction to Packers' Micah Parsons Trade

The Chicago Bears may not have been involved in the blockbuster NFL trade that saw the Green Bay Packers acquire Micah Parsons from the Dallas Cowboys, but they sure were impacted by it.

Seeing the Packers acquire a superstar pass rusher like Parsons is a worst-case scenario. Caleb Williams will now be facing off against and running from one of the best defensive talents in the NFL two times each season moving forward.

After getting sacked 68 times last season as a rookie, this is the last thing Williams and the Bears would have wanted to see.

Not only did Green Bay acquire Parsons, he also received a massive four-year, $188 million contract extension. He'll be in the NFC North for years to come.

Following the news breaking about the trade, Chicago star safety Jaquan Brisker took to social media to share a hilarious reaction.

This is arguably the biggest trade the Packers have ever made.

Looking at the NFC North now, Chicago's path to the playoffs just got much more difficult. The Detroit Lions are expected to be one of the best teams in the NFL, the Minnesota Vikings were one of the best teams in the league in 2024, and now Green Bay is much better than it was yesterday.

Parsons is coming off of a 2024 season with the Cowboys that saw him play in 13 games and deal with some injury issues. He played in 13 games, racking up 43 tackles, 12 sacks, two forced fumbles, and a defended pass.

Brisker, on the other hand, only played in five games during the 2024 season due to concussion issues. Throughout his three years with the Bears, the 26-year-old safety has totaled 249 tackles, six sacks, four forced fumbles, two fumble recoveries, three interceptions, and 13 defended passes.

The Bears will open up the 2025 NFL season with a Monday Night Football matchup with the Vikings, while Green Bay will face off against the Lions in Week 1.

Chicago and the Packers will meet for the first time in Week 14 on December 7.
