While preparing for the 2025 season, the Dallas Cowboys have had to deal with off-field drama hanging over them like a dark cloud. Just a week before they open the season against the Philadelphia Eagles, things with Micah Parsons have come to a shocking resolution.
Given how messy the saga between Parsons and the Cowboys got, many felt things had passed the point of being repaired. Despite early reports of Dallas not planning to honor his trade request from earlier this month, the star linebacker finds himself embarking on a new journey in the NFL.
On Thursday afternoon, insider Adam Schefter reported that the Cowboys have decided to move on from Parsons. He's been traded to the Green Bay Packers in exchange for defensive lineman Kenny Clark and a pair of first-round picks.
The Packers also plan to sign Parsons to the largest deal in league history for a non-quarterback.
