THE [Cherries](http://www.bournemouthecho.co.uk/sport/cherries/clubnews/) are confident heading into their trip to Spurs on Saturday, Alex Scott said.

Bournemouth picked up four points against Ange Postecoglou’s side last season, but Tottenham are now managed by former Brentford boss Thomas Frank – and have made a strong start to the season.

Andoni Iraola’s side travel to London off the back of a disappointing Carabao Cup defeat to Brentford, but Scott insisted that game would be put firmly behind them by the weekend.

“It's going to be tough,” Scott told the Daily Echo looking ahead to the weekend.

“We know how good they are and at home as well, it's going to be a tough game, but we'll be confident.

“This is forgotten now and it's all down to Spurs.

“So we've got a bit of time off tomorrow and then back in Thursday, ready to prepare and we're all looking forward to the game and we're confident we can get a result.”
