The Green Bay Packers shocked the NFL world by acquiring Micah Parsons in a monster trade with the Dallas Cowboys on Thursday, and quarterback Jordan Love was at a loss for words.
Following the trade, Love — who shares the same agent as Parsons — took to social media to react to the massive deal, and all he could do was post some fire emojis.

Love is now entering his third full season as the Packers' starting quarterback, and even before the arrival of Parsons, expectations were the highest they had ever been for the young signal-caller and his squad.
After all, Green Bay won 11 games in the rugged NFC North last year and added even more weapons this offseason, bagging wide receivers Matthew Golden and Savion Williams in the NFL Draft.
Now, the Packers have poached one of the best defensive players in football and a generational talent in Parsons, who has made four straight Pro Bowl appearances to begin his NFL career and has registered three top-three finishes in Defensive Player of the Year voting.
The 26-year-old tallied 43 tackles and 12 sacks in 2024 and has already accumulated 52.5 sacks thus far in his NFL tenure, a truly remarkable feat for the Penn State product.
Meanwhile, Love burst on to the scene in 2023, putting together a torrid second half of the season and leading Green Bay to a stunning playoff appearance. He was actually a bit of a disappointment last year, throwing for 3,389 yards, 25 touchdowns and 11 interceptions while completing 63.1 percent of his passes, but he certainly seems prepared to take his game to the next level this fall.

The addition of Parsons has significantly increased the Packers' Super Bowl chances, but it doesn't mean they won't still have to overcome challenges.
Green Bay plays in an NFC North division that may be the toughest in the NFL and will face a stiff litmus test in Week 1 when it battles the Detroit Lions.
