Nebraska is looking to build off of a strong 2024 that included a 7-6 record and the team's first bowl game appearance since 2016. In the Pinstripe Bowl, the Huskers got a 20-15 win over Boston College.
Nebraska should have a strong offense this season with quarterback Dylan Raiola under center, who had a solid 2024 season by throwing for over 2,800 yards and 13 touchdowns. However, he also had 11 interceptions. Jacory Barney is back at wide receiver and led the team with 55 catches last season.
As for Cincinnati, the team is looking to turn the page and get back to its winning ways. The Bearcats went 5-7 last season and have finished below .500 the last two seasons.
Brendan Sorsby is back as the starting quarterback after throwing for 2,800 yards and 18 touchdowns. He also finished second on the team in rushing yards and first in rushing touchdowns with nine. The receiving group is still talented, with Evan Pryor and Tawee Walker leading the way.
