The Dallas Cowboys shocked the NFL world Thursday by trading four-time all-pro Micah Parsons to the Packers, but they also made another transaction involving a former Michigan player.
The team claimed offensive lineman Trevor Keegan, who was waived by the Super Bowl-champion Eagles on Wednesday after initially making Philadelphia’s 53-man roster. Keegan, a three-year starter for the Wolverines who won a national championship in 2023, was a fifth-round pick of the Eagles in 2024. He only appeared in one game as a rookie and was set to be a backup again in 2025.
In a corresponding move, Dallas waived receiver Ryan Flournoy, a sixth-round pick from last year.
At Michigan, Keegan was a starting guard on Michigan’s 2021 and 2022 Joe Moore Award-winning offensive lines. He earned all-Big Ten recognition his final three years with the Wolverines.
