Leeds United have sanctioned a straight loan exit for Largie Ramazani to Valencia, the second exit of its kind to La Liga after Mateo Joseph moved to Mallorca earlier in the summer.
Ahead of the final days of the summer window, Leeds have seen a flurry of activity towards the exit door with multiple players pursuing moves away from West Yorkshire.
Largie Ramazani’s and Mateo Joseph’s situations at the club under Daniel Farke have prompted a lot more discussion than most, and both have left the club.

That transfer away from Leeds has now been pushed through, as Ramazani flew out to Spain on Wednesday evening ahead of a loan to Carlos Corberan’s Valencia.
The Athletic’s Beren Cross reports that Ramazani’s move to the Mestalla is a straight loan transfer, and therefore won’t include a buy option.
Ramazani has already commented on his transfer to the La Liga side, delighted and raring to go:
“I’m very happy to be here and to be playing in La Liga again. I’ve spoken with Corberán. I’m physically fit to play now,” he said after landing at Alicante airport, per AS.
Leeds United make Largie Ramazani, Mateo Joseph intentions clear with straight loans
There’s no debating the fact that both Ramazani and Joseph were better off leaving Elland Road in some capacity this summer, having struggled for consistent opportunities last season under Farke.
Whether or not they deserved to start is obviously an ongoing debate amongst fans online, but the end goal was achieved thanks in part to the two players – Manor Solomon and Joel Piroe – that kept Ramazani and Joseph benched.

However, Leeds now have two assets that would definitely argue that their development has been stunted in the past 12 months at Leeds, and the club may well agree that their potential to grow outweighs their current transfer valuation.
Both players have moved to La Liga with Leeds refusing buy options, and two things are clear:
The door remains open for both players to return in 2026
Leeds view these players as more valuable assets than they would currently be worth, had permanent offers arrived
The task now for both is to not only prove their worth at Valencia and Mallorca respectively, but to show Leeds and Farke that they absolutely have a future at the club going forward.
Depending on what happens in West Yorkshire while the two are gone, they could return for pre-season next summer with a wildly different situation unfolding at the club.
