Opinion: Everton's predicted XI vs Wolves as David Moyes makes Tyler Dibling decision

Everton are back in action on Saturday afternoon as they travel to Molineux to face Wolverhampton Wanderers.

David Moyes’ side have won two on the bounce at the new Hill Dickinson Stadium but will now travel to the West Midlands for an away game in the Premier League.

Wolves, who are being tipped to be in a relegation battle this season, have lost their opening two league games but beat West Ham United in the Carabao Cup this week.

Everton will likely be the slight favourites, especially with teenage winger Tyler Dibling now part of the group.

With that said, here is how Moyes could line up against Vitor Pereira’s men.

Everton predicted XI vs Wolves

Moyes has been clear that he wants Everton to evolve and become a really exciting team that fans can get behind.

Speaking after the 2-0 win against Brighton, the Scotsman said: “We need to score more goals. One thing I don’t want to lose is the spirit on the pitch. We want more flair and quality.”

Since then, Everton have added Dibling to their squad, and he certainly brings that attacking quality in abundance.

Considering Dibling made a cameo appearance against Mansfield Town on Wednesday, it’s clear he’s ready to start from the off.

So, the Toffees could line up with a trio of Jack Grealish, Iliman Ndiaye and Dibling just behind Thierno Barry up top against Wolves.

Elsewhere, Vitali Mykolenko returns at left-back, replacing James Garner, who has deputised in that role exceptionally well in the first two league games.

Everton predicted starting line-up against Wolves.

Tyler Dibling could play in number 10 role

Dibling’s skillset means he’s well-equipped to play in a central role, as his former manager Russell Martin explained to Gary Lineker earlier this year.

“He’s powerful, he’s really quick, both feet, can shoot. I worked with Harry Kane and physically the stuff I’ve seen him do at 18 in the Premier League with people just bouncing off him – he has something I’ve not seen in a British player in a long time.

“He’ll play as a No.8 or a No.10 eventually, but he’s 18, so we played him out wide and he was incredible.

With Ndiaye performing so well off the right against Brighton and actually scoring at the back post, Moyes may be tempted to keep him in that role.

This frees up the attacking midfield position for Dibling to slot into, whilst Grealish operates off the left flank.

Whatever Moyes opts for, there are certainly plenty of options and he will hope his new £40m recruit will hit the ground running.
