Juventus are exploring a move to sign Chelsea striker Nicolas Jackson this summer, according to [Gianluca DiMarzio](https://gianlucadimarzio.com/juventus-nicolas-jackson-kolo-muani-calciomercato-28-agosto-2025/).
The Bianconeri were closing in on a deal to sign Randal Kolo Muani from Paris Saint-Germain.
Unfortunately, talks continue to drag on, and they are considering alternatives. Jackson is at the top of the shortlist.
Jackson is available after finding himself surplus to requirements at Stamford Bridge, and the 36-time champions of Italy are considering a swoop for his signature.
[Bayern Munich agreed a deal to take the Senegalese international on loan](https://footballtoday.com/2025/08/28/nicolas-jackson-set-to-join-bayern-on-loan-from-chelsea/), but Chelsea are stalling, awaiting developments in the transfer market to see whether they can sell him permanently.
This delay has allowed the Old Lady to enter the picture. Juventus reportedly know Bayern are ahead in the race for Jackson.
However, that has not stopped them from tracking the player.
Despite facing massive scrutiny for his profligacy in front of goal, Jackson bagged 30 goals and 12 assists in 81 appearances in West London.
His link-up play, dribbling ability, and movement are terrific, even though his end-product in the final third can be frustrating.
Jackson would be an incredible signing for several top European sides, and he is not short of options, with several suitors queuing up for his signature.
That said, the Bundesliga might actually be the best environment for Jackson’s development.
At Bayern, he could work under the mentorship of Harry Kane, learning from one of the game’s most complete strikers while being eased into a high-pressure role.
The pace, space, and attacking emphasis of German football also suit his strengths.
On the other hand, Juventus would likely thrust him in as first-choice, requiring him to shoulder the burden of leading the line from day one.
For that reason, the appeal of Turin is obvious, but Bayern offer the more balanced path to his long-term growth.
