Milwaukee Bucks made courageous movement in the summer offseason but the observers are not convinced. They believe Giannis Antetokounmpo is still on top of his game but he will need herculean effort from him to take his team to the top.

One analyst think he’ll have to be a superhero for them to get the result they want.
“The state of the Eastern Conference makes this more palatable and a Disney movie-style triumph seem more possible,” The Athletic’s Harper wrote.
“Surround Giannis with defense and outside shooting. Make the games ugly. Rely on Giannis to be a superhero. To quote that kid in “Angels in the Outfield,” it could happen, though I don’t know if anybody should bet on it happening.”
The biggest move made by the Bucks is letting Damian Lillard go and is now back with his long-time team Portland Trailblazers. They did this to be able to acquire Myles Turner from the Indiana Pacers and pay him $108.9 million for four years.

Other notable moves is keeping the core of their previous squad by re-signing of Gary Trent Jr., Kevin Porter Jr., AJ Green, and Bobby Portis who alongside Giannis are the only two players left from the 2021 championship team.
Darvin Ham’s super challenge for Giannis Antetokounmpo
Ham is in Cyprus together with head coach Doc Rivers to watch Antetokounmpo and his brothers play for Greece in the EuroBasket 2025.
Antetokounmpo having to play like Superman does not sound promising but Ham did not try to hide that it is their plan for 2025-26 season. He made the statement while talking to European reporters and got asked to describe the difference between NBA Giannis and EuroBasket Giannis.
“[In] the NBA, his usage rate is off the charts,” Ham said.

“He’s always constantly has the ball in his hands. So, a little bit different role for him over there. He does a great job to include his teammates. I can’t stress that enough He does a great job including his teammates and allowing things to happen and take place. And with us, he has to be Superman, but it’s good. It’s good to see him be able to do both.”

Antetokounmpo had injury issues heading to the 2023 and 2024 playoffs. It will be intriguing how they will use Giannis to make sure he is reserved for the postseason.
