The Pittsburgh Steelers are hoping quarterback Aaron Rodgers can lead them to the promised land and make them successful in the postseason. However, the quarterback is going to be having the table stacked against him and looking to prove the haters wrong.
With the 2025 season approaching, there are some limitations that Aaron Rodgers is going to have heading into the season, but what did one NFL analyst believe is the biggest one for the four-time NFL MVP? Let’s take a closer look.
Aaron Rodgers’ Age is a Concern

In an article written by Pro Football Focus’ John Kosko titled “Quarterback Kryptonite: Biggest weaknesses for every NFL starting QB“, he wrote how Aaron Rodgers’ biggest issue is his age.
“This could be just a copy and paste from our 2024 iteration. Rodgers will turn 42 years old this season, and he is adapting to a new coaching staff and new weapons. He still has the arm talent, but everything just looked harder for him a year ago. His mobility isn’t where it used to be, when it was a weapon in the prime of his career. It is still possible for Rodgers have a Tom Brady-esque end of his career, but the odds are stacked against him.”
Aaron Rodgers certainly has to figure out how to get off on the right foot this season and he had a down season with the New York Jets last season compared to what we are used to seeing. He completed 368 of 584 (63.0%) of his passes for 3,897 yards with 28 passing touchdowns to 11 interceptions while playing in all 17 games after suffering a ruptured Achilles tendon the season before.
This season is going to be an intriguing one to see how Aaron Rodgers looks and if he can find the ability to step up after a massive dropoff in production and not making the postseason in three years.
