Everton are looking to make it three wins on the bounce when they take on Wolves at Molineux in the Premier League on Saturday.

Everton beat Mansfield Town 2-0 on Wednesday, on a night where 18-year-old Harrison Armstrong starred, picking up two assists for the Toffees.

Carlos Alcarez and Beto scored the goals and impressed, but Thierno Barry attracted criticism from Charlie Adam for his performance.

That win followed Everton’s 2-0 victory over Brighton at the Hill Dickinson Stadium, with goals from Iliman Ndiaye and James Garner earning David Moyes’ side their first three points of the season.

And the Scot will hope his side can continue their good form against Wolves, with several changes expected to the side that beat Mansfield.

Vitalii Mykolenko was spotted before making his return from injury against Mansfield, with the defender set to return to Premier League action against Wolves.

The Ukrainian is expected to line up alongside Jake O’Brien, James Tarkowski, and Michael Keane in defence, with Jordan Pickford also set to return to the starting line-up.

Garner played the 90 minutes on Wednesday and is expected to drop to the bench, with Tim Iroegbunam to take his place alongside Idrissa Gueye.

Despite Alcaraz’s goal-scoring performance against Mansfield, Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall is expected to take his place back, with Jack Grealish and Ndiaye to support the midfielder on either side.

Barry struggled against Mansfield and is expected to drop to the bench for the Wolves clash, with Beto taking his place to lead the Everton attack.

David Moyes to hand Beto start vs Wolves

Beto was criticised for his performance when Everton lost 1-0 to Leeds United, with the striker dropped for Barry against Brighton.

But the £27million signing from Villarreal has struggled to adapt to the English game in his short time on the pitch so far, which may tempt Moyes into returning to the reliable Beto.
