AS Monaco’s Soungoutou Magassa and Paris FC’s Dimitri Colau are set to join West Ham United in the final week of the transfer window.
Three days ago, L’Equipe reported the Hammers are finalising the deal with Monaco for the midfielder.
On Wednesday, Foot Mercato reported Eintracht Frankfurt are attempting to scupper the 21-year-old’s transfer to West Ham.
A fresh report from the same outlet now provides the latest and it’s positive for Graham Potter’s side.
Magassa has already given the green light to the London club. It’s claimed after his medical tests, likely with West Ham, Eintracht Frankfurt tried to hijack this operation.
However, their last-minute efforts weren’t successful and the Monaco player ‘will sign’ for West Ham. The Ligue 1 club will earn €17m plus a potential €3m in bonuses.
Another report from Foot Mercato states Colau ‘will sign’ for the Premier League club. The 19-year-old centre-back is a product of Paris FC’s academy and was promoted to the first team in 2023.
Paris FC have secured a promotion to the top flight, but the young defender is on his way to join West Ham. It’s claimed Colau is expected to undergo medical with the Hammers on Saturday.
He will sign a four-year contract with an option for another year. According to the report, Colau will initially be part of West Ham’s reserve team.
