In Thursday’s press conference, Leeds United boss Daniel Farke hinted that the club could add ”one or two” more attackers before the window closes. The German has been speaking on this since pre-season.
”We have allowed Largie and Isaac to travel for talks with other clubs. Not confirmed yet but we expect this will happen. Min focus is to strengthen offence, how realistic, it makes no sense to give you a percentage but we’re looking forward to strengthen offence a bit more. If it’s one or two more we will see, whatever is possible. We want the best possible squad and everyone is working hard.”

Bilal El Khannouss has been a hot topic in the last few weeks of this transfer window. Many clubs in the Premier League are interested in signing him. Leeds were one of the first club’s to make an official approach to Leicester City. The Whites even met the player’s representatives to discuss details.

And with just days to go before the transfer deadline, there is growing confidence that Leicester City could eventually keep El Khannouss.
Buonanotte is now a concrete option
Unlike with El Khannouss, Leeds are making strides towards signing Facundo Buonanotte. The Argentine played alongside El Khannouss for a very poor Leiecester City side last season. The Whites have managed to convince Brighton to loan him out, and are now working on finalizing a deal for the 20-year old.
Buonanotte had five goals and two assists for the Foxes in the Premier League last year.
