On the move: Luka Vuskovic has left Tottenham to join German side Hamburg on loan
Tottenham Hotspurs Football Newsletter
The 18-year-old officially arrived at Spurs in July, having agreed to join the club from Hajduk Split in 2023.
Vuskovic impressed in the opening pre-season friendly under Thomas Frank, scoring and assisting against Reading, but has had limited involvement since then.
Spurs have made the decision to send the centre-back out on loan and he will spend the campaign at Bundesliga side Hamburg.
The move is a straight loan deal, with no option or obligation to buy included for next summer. Vuskovic was in Hamburg to undergo a medical on Thursday and his move has now been made official.
It remains to be seen whether Spurs are now encouraged to make a centre-back signing in the final days of the transfer window, with Frank keen to strengthen in defence.
Radu Dragusin and new arrival Kota Takai are both out injured, meaning Kevin Danso and Ben Davies are currently the only back-up options to Micky van de Ven and Cristian Romero.

Both of Spurs' first-choice centre-backs spent large spells of last season on the sidelines with injury issues of their own.
Spurs are still working to find a move for midfielder Yves Bissouma, who is in the final year of his contract and not in Frank's plans.
The club were in talks with Galatasaray over a loan deal with an obligation to buy next summer, but that is understood to have stalled.
Reports suggest that the Turkish club have concerns over Bissouma's physical condition and are now considering targets who would have a more immediate impact.
Spurs would also be open to letting Bryan Gil and Manor Solomon leave if suitable offers are received before Monday's deadline.
