Arne Slot has provided a brief injury update ahead of the clash against Arsenal.

Sunday’s high-stakes Premier League showdown at Anfield could carry enormous title implications, despite coming so early in the 2025-26 season.

With both teams eager to preserve their flawless starts to the campaign, the pressure is already on.

Arsenal arrives in superb form following a gritty 1-0 win at Old Trafford over Manchester United and a commanding 5-0 rout of Leeds United on home turf.

And luckily, for Liverpool, it seems both Alexis Mac Allister and Conor Bradley will be elligble for the clash.

Arne Slot confirmed in his press conference that both players trained this week:

“I think the positive is Bradley has trained the whole week. Mac Allister started training again. So no injuries. Virgil is also OK.”

He added on Arsenal compared to this season and last season:

“I think they have similarities, the playing style of Arsenal not changed too much.”

“A different No.9 this season but Gabriel Jesus played but Gyokores is different to Havertz, who is more false 9, and a target man who maybe makes more runs in behind. I think it is the same style.”

The Gunners have plenty of injury issues of their own.

Arsenal are grappling with several key injuries ahead of their clash with Liverpool.

Bukayo Saka is sidelined for up to four weeks due to a hamstring issue picked up during the win over Leeds.

Captain Martin Ødegaard remains a doubt after a shoulder injury, while Kai Havertz is facing an extended absence that requires knee surgery.

Gabriel Jesus also continues to recover from an ACL problem, adding to Mikel Arteta’s selection concerns.
