Manchester United’s Alejandro Garnacho is set to join Chelsea late in the window.
The forward has been left out of Ruben Amorim’s plans and has been training away from the first team since pre-season.
It was well known he’d leave Manchester United and a few clubs from across Europe and beyond tried to sign him.
Garnacho has been determined to join Chelsea for weeks and will see his wish fulfilled. On Thursday, several claims from the UK reported the Blues had agreed a £40m fee with Manchester United, who retain a 10% sell-on clause.
El Chiringuito took to X, formerly known as Twitter, to provide an update on the 21-year-old’s impending transfer to Stamford Bridge.
They have received a picture of the Argentina international inside a private jet, travelling to complete his move to Chelsea.
El Chiringuito make no mention of the place where the Manchester United player boarded but report he should touch down in London at 12pm Spanish time, meaning 11am BST.
The South American should then carry out transfer formalities, including his Chelsea medical, in the next few hours. It’s only a matter of time before Garnacho and Manchester United part ways.
