FC Porto want to sign Arsenal’s Jakub Kiwior on loan with a purchase obligation for an overall fee of €25-27m. Three days ago, A Bola reported the defender was set to travel to Portugal before cancelling his flight.
A day later, claims from Portugal explained that Kiwior is waiting for authorisation from Arsenal to complete his move to Porto.
On Thursday, O Jogo reported Arsenal want to sign Bayer Leverkusen’s Piero Hincapié before letting Kiwior leave.
They also explained private jets have been scheduled for the 25-year-old to make a trip to Portugal for the past two days. However, he couldn’t travel, and the delay frustrates the Primeira Liga side.
Friday’s edition of A Bola reports that a private jet has been ‘booked for this morning’ for the Poland international, just like it was done for the last two days.
The centre-back is waiting to receive the green light from the Gunners. Despite booking the private jet, Porto believe Arsenal will delay his exit again.
They say Mikel Arteta may want Kiwior at his disposal until after Arsenal face Liverpool on Sunday.
