Nicolas Jackson is running out of time to secure a transfer move this summer, but Chelsea are in advanced discussions to find him a new club.
Even though Nicolas Jackson has led the line at Chelsea as their first-choice striker in the last two seasons, he’s been shoved down the pecking order at Stamford Bridge. In fact, he’s been left out of the Blues squad in the opening weeks of the season while his future is resolved.
Chelsea head coach Enzo Maresca admitted Jackson could soon leave during a recent interview.
The latest transfer speculation points towards the 24-year-old centre-forward possibly ending up in German football for the first time in his career.

Bayern Munich and Chelsea in advanced talks for Nicolas Jackson
According to Sky journalist Florian Plettenberg via X, Bundesliga giants Bayern Munich are in “advanced negotiations” with Chelsea to sign Jackson on loan.
The ongoing talks are trying to sort the terms of the transfer, including the option to buy and a loan fee worth up to a huge €15m (£13m) sum.
Despite the fact that the German champions are working on finalising a move for the Blues frontman, they could yet face late competition for his signature.

It is worth noting that Jackson is being pushed to join Bayern or Newcastle United by his agent.
Chelsea would reintegrate Jackson if he does not secure a move in what is left of the transfer window, but the noise continues to intensify around a potential move to the Allianz Arena.

Nicolas Jackson will surely sit on the bench at Bayern Munich
If Jackson joins Bayern in the next few days, the deal would be a mixed bag.
From Chelsea’s perspective, it’s a win if they can offload a player who is not in their plans. In particular, the suggestion of a mammoth £13m loan fee sounds like a transfer masterstroke.
As for Vincent Kompany’s Bayern side, they would improve their squad options with another talented forward.
However, Jackson must know he’s going to spend a lot of time on the bench if this move happens, which is slightly odd for someone who’s played regularly for the last few seasons. Harry Kane has scored 91 goals in 99 appearances for Bayern across all competitions since he joined them, so there may not be a player in the world who could dislodge the 32-year-old England captain from their XI.
