Leeds United have been linked with a move to bring Tottenham winger Manor Solomon back to Elland Road throughout the summer transfer window.
Manor Solomon was a key player in Leeds’ promotion last season, scoring 10 goals and registering 12 assists as he claimed a prestigious Championship award in the process.
Leeds were keen to bring Solomon back to Elland Road at the start of the transfer window; however, the signing of Noah Okafor has now eased some of the pressure on Daniel Farke’s forward line.
With Leeds now closing in on a deal for Facundo Buonanotte of Brighton, the chances of Solomon now appear to be receding as he risks being left in limbo at Spurs.
Now, the Yorkshire Evening Post’s Chief Football Writer, Graham Smyth, has provided an update on the likelihood of Solomon returning to Leeds as the transfer window draws to a close.

Update provided on Manor Solomon to Leeds United
In a post on the social media site X (formerly Twitter), Smyth addressed Solomon’s future as Leeds look to put the final touches to their Premier League squad.
Smyth has previously stated that Leeds are likely to add just one more attacking signing to their squad in the final days of the window, and a fan asked whether this was likely to be Solomon.
The YEP journalist responded unequivocally, stating, “He’s not really what they need, so ideally not.”

Having elected to return to Tottenham to attempt to fight for his place in their side under new manager Thomas Frank, Solomon now risks being frozen out in North London, with the options for his next move dwindling.
Now, it appears that the former Leeds loanee could be forced to step down into the Championship to secure regular football this season.

Manor Solomon is linked with Leicester City
Speaking on the Last Word on Spurs podcast, journalist Ben Jacobs revealed that newly-relegated Leicester City could be Solomon’s next destination on another loan deal.
According to Jacobs, Leicester are looking to bring in a forward on an affordable contract, having struggled for goals at the start of this season, and Solomon could be the perfect option.
“Solomon is looking for a late window solution. Let’s see whether Leeds come back,” Jacobs said, “I’m also told my club, the one I support anyway, Leicester, are quite interested in Manuel Solomon as well.
“They’re obviously looking for more attackers. I think from Leicester’s point of view, they’re struggling at the moment. They’ve had to make a lot of sales with very limited business.
“They need goals. They need somebody who can score freely in the Championship, which was Solomon last season. And they need something relatively economical.”
