Premier League leaders Arsenal travel to face reigning champions Liverpool on Sunday afternoon.
Mikel Arteta’s side have started the season strongly, narrowly beating Manchester United on the opening weekend before cruising to a 5-0 win against newly-promoted Leeds United last time out.
New signing Viktor Gyokeres netted twice against the Whites, while fellow new arrival Martin Zubimendi also impressed.
Now, it appears that one member of Arteta’s squad could soon be on his way out of The Emirates.
According to Fabrizio Romano, Porto have agreed a deal to sign defender Jakub Kiwior on a season-long loan deal.
It is claimed that the Poland international will join the Portuguese giants on loan for the remainder of the current campaign, with the deal including an obligation-to-buy clause meaning the move will become permanent next summer.

Kiwior, 25, joined the Gunners from Italian outfit Spezia in 2023 and has since made 68 appearances for the North London side.
The Polish defender has struggled to ever establish himself as a guaranteed starter in Arteta’s side, although his versatility has benefitted the Gunners with the ex-Spezia man able to play at left-back or as a central defender.
Last term he started just ten of Arsenal’s 38 Premier League games, and it appears that the defender may now have played his final game for the club.
Romano claims that Porto will pay a loan fee of around £1.7 million for the player, before being obliged to sign the player for around £14.7 million, although that fee could rise to more than £21.5 million if certain add-ons are triggered.
It is claimed that Kiwior will fly to Porto in the coming days in order to undergo a medical and finalise the move.
