Leicester City’s Bilal El Khannouss is holding off on a move to Saudi Arabia as he waits for Crystal Palace to sign him instead.
That’s [according to Africa Foot](https://africafoot.com/blocus-a-leicester-la-mere-de-bilal-el-khannouss-et-regragui-montent-au-front/), who report that Leicester are pressuring him to move to Saudi Arabia this summer but the player and his mother, who acts as his agent, are fighting against that.
They report that El Khannouss is facing intense pressure to move to the Saudi Pro League, but he wants to join Crystal Palace and return to the Premier League.
The player and his family are trying to defend his sporting and professional interests against Leicester and don’t intend to give up on that front.
The situation is deeply worrying for his mother, Karima Ben Aïssa, who also acts as his agent. She’s expressed her concern about the pressure that Leicester are putting on her son to move to Saudi Arabia.
Fortunately, they are being supported by Morocco manager Walid Regragui, who has emphasised the importance of remaining in one of Europe’s top five leagues.
The 20-year-old wants to leave Leicester before the end of the window and has an agreement in place with Crystal Palace, but the Foxes are refusing to release him for less than €35m.
The hope is that Crystal Palace move again as they look to replace Eberechi Eze, but until they do, the player and his mother are having to fight Leicester’s desire for him to move to Saudi.
