Jose Mourinho would be interested in becoming the new Rangers manager following his shock sacking.
That's according to talkSPORT's European football expert, Kevin Hatchard, who has weighed up where Mourinho may go next.

The iconic manager was dismissed as Fenerbahce boss on Friday, just two days after failing to qualify for the Champions League.
Mourinho only joined the Turkish giants last summer and has gone on to lose only 11 times in 62 games in the dugout.
However, it appears that now securing a spot amongst UEFA's elite has led to the club opting to part ways.
Now, rumours will be swirling over the former Chelsea, Manchester United and Tottenham manager's next destination.

And he has immediately been linked to Scottish giants Rangers, who suffered European embarrassment this week.
A 9-1 aggregate loss to Club Brugge has led to calls for Russell Martin to be sacked less than three months after joining.
Martin has had a nightmare start, failing to win a game in the Scottish Premiership and falling six points behind Old Firm rivals Celtic on top of their Champions League failure.
His job appears to be on thin ice and European football expert Hatchard believes Mourinho would be interested in replacing him.
Mourinho even admitted he would love to manage in Scotland back in March.
“What would appeal to him is the challenge of getting Rangers back where they belong," Hatchard told talkSPORT.

“The passion would also appeal to him. Can you imagine him at Ibrox? That would be extraordinary."
Arsenal icon Ray Parlour is expecting that Mourinho will be looking to get straight back into management.
And he also believes that Rangers could be a good fit for him.
"I think he'll be straight back in, he'll bide his time and he's got to get the right job for himself," Parlour told talkSPORT.
"What he did at Chelsea was unbelievable and he's got that competitive nature.
"Rangers, he loves the passion in certain games...I'm sure the Rangers fans will be thinking 'Ooo that'd be good'.
"But look, Russell Martin is still in the job at the moment."

Where else could Mourinho go?
Nottingham Forest
Nottingham Forest are understood to have Mourinho on their list of potential replacements for Nuno Espirito Santo.
Espirito Santo's future is up in the air following a public fallout with owner Evangelos Marinakis.
Ex-Tottenham boss Ange Postecoglou is considered a top option to step in should the Portuguese get sacked.
However, Mourinho appears to also be a contender.
Former Watford striker Troy Deeney told talkSPORT: "The obvious one is Forest at the moment with that uncertainty.
"I think Mourinho is always going to be in for a job. From a brand point of view he raises your club instantly."

Saudi Arabia
Mourinho has been linked multiple times with a move to Saudi Arabia, with Al Hilal previously interested.
Hilal instead appointed Simone Inzaghi, but talkSPORT understands that Mourinho was a name under consideration.
It means that they aren't an option at the moment, while he had also held talks with Al Qadsiah last summer.
Hatchard told talkSPORT on any potential move to the Middle East for the 'Special One': “He’s been linked with Saudi Arabia endlessly. He’s said he may do that at some stage."
It was in 2023 that Mourinho admitted he'd be interested in a Saudi switch, saying whilst at Roma: "Doors are always open for me in Saudi Arabia. I want to feel the development there.
"Cristiano [Ronaldo] was the first to go there and give a different perspective immediately. The players thought at first that it was a one-man show, but they realised in the summer that everything was really changing."

Portugal
Another potential new destination for Mourinho could be his national side, Portugal or a job back in his home country.
Hatchard said on his chances of an international role: “Roberto Martinez has done a good job with Portugal.
"But that debate is always there, the fans love Mourinho.”
Of course, the 62-year-old is an icon in Portugal and he has also publicly admitted that he'd love to manage there again.
"I'm definitely coming to Portugal. It hasn't happened yet, but it will," he said in July during Fenerbahce's pre-season. "Not because I feel like I'm nearing the end, I feel far from that...I'll definitely be back."
On whether it would be in club management or for the Portuguese national team, he simply added: "Anything."

West Ham
Could Mourinho end up at the London Stadium next?
West Ham have made a woeful start to the campaign, conceding 11 goals in just three games so far, and it has left manager Graham Potter in a precarious position seven months after his arrival.
"Would he go to West Ham?" Deeney asked on talkSPORT.
Host Sam Matterface and talkSPORT's chief football correspondent replied simultaneously: "Yes."
Matterface then continued: "I think he'd come back to the Premier League in a heartbeat, he loves it. Especially London.
"He still has a house in Chelsea...I think any avenue that was offered to him [he'd return to the Premier League].

Manchester United
With Ruben Amorim suffering his worst moment yet as Man United boss against Grimsby Town, his future has been questioned.
And despite United sticking by Amorim for now, they may be tempted to bring Mourinho back for a second stint.
He won the Europa League and Carabao Cup at the club during his two-year spell from 2016 to 2018.
The Red Devils don't have any European football this season, but that may actually appeal to Mourinho more.

"The best thing I have to do is - when I leave Fenerbahce - I go to a club that doesn't play UEFA competitions," he said last year.
"So if any club in England, from the bottom of the table, needs coach in two years - I am ready to go."
