€25m offer to be made for Manchester United player quickly–Figure includes bonuses

Real Betis have been plotting to get Manchester United’s Antony this summer, after his successful loan spell with them in the second half of last season. They wanted to sign him on a new loan deal, while the Red Devils haven’t entertained this formula.

The La Liga club were confident they could sign the winger on their terms towards the end of the window. That hasn’t happened so far as Manchester United are looking to get rid of him permanently.

A Real Betis delegation has been in Manchester all week, trying to find an agreement with the Premier League club. Their CEO [Ramón Alarcón returned to Spain](https://sportwitness.co.uk/delegation-staying-for-manchester-united-transfer-talks-optimism-of-agreement-for-exit/), while sporting director Manu Fajardo and technical secretary Álvaro Ladrón de Guevara have stayed in England.

[ABC Sevilla](https://www.abc.es/deportes/alfinaldelapalmera/fichajes-betis/betis-dia-comprar-antony-20250829071902-nts.html) report the trip has made them realise Manchester United aren’t going to accept a loan deal.

In the last few hours, the La Liga side have decided to make an offer they believe can satisfy Ruben Amorim’s side.

The offer is €25m including bonuses for 50% of Antony’s rights, meaning the Old Trafford club will receive 50%, likely profit, of a future sale. There’s obviously a possibility such a sale would never happen.

The Brazil international will be offered a long-term contract to offset the pay cut he has to take initially, which would be needed to help Real Betis register him.

According to ABC Sevilla, the Spanish club want to convince Manchester United with this proposal in the next few hours.

The newspaper state Real Betis have pushed to the limit in their efforts to try and sign the South American. They are also focusing on strengthening other areas and movements for these operations could depend on the outcome of negotiations in Manchester.

When they table the offer to buy Antony, it’ll be down to Manchester United to make a decision. If they were to reject it, Manuel Pellergini’s side will move on to other targets.
