Trent Alexander-Arnold has been left out of England's squad for the upcoming matches against Andorra and Serbia.

The Real Madrid player, along with Jack Grealish, who recently moved to Everton, are the notable exclusions. Djed Spence has been called up in place of the injured Ben White, while Elliot Anderson receives his first call-up under Thomas Tuchel.

Alexander-Arnold's absence from the latest England squad is significant, with Tuchel choosing not to include the Real Madrid star for the forthcoming World Cup qualifying matches against Andorra and Serbia. The former Liverpool player was part of Tuchel's previous squad.

Grealish will have to wait for his chance to return to the England team; he transferred to Everton this summer in an attempt to secure regular playing time after falling out of favour at Manchester City. He has made a promising start at Everton, contributing two assists in their recent 2-0 victory over Brighton.

However, his impressive start to the season hasn't been enough to earn him a recall to the national team. Marcus Rashford, who moved from Manchester United to Barcelona earlier this summer, does make the cut.

Rashford is joined by Nottingham Forest midfielder Elliott Anderson, who earns his first senior call-up following his excellent form. Anderson was a standout performer for England's Under-21s in their European Championship victory this summer.

The full England squad is as follows:

Goalkeepers: Dean Henderson (Crystal Palace), Jordan Pickford (Everton), James Trafford (Manchester City).

Defenders: Dan Burn (Newcastle United), Marc Guéhi (Crystal Palace), Reece James (Chelsea), Ezri Konsa (Aston Villa), Myles Lewis-Skelly (Arsenal), Tino Livramento (Newcastle United), Djed Spence (Tottenham Hotspur), John Stones (Manchester City).
