Chelsea defender Alfie Gilchrist is set to join West Brom in a permanent deal worth £2million plus add-ons, talkSPORT understands.
The Blues academy graduate will undergo a medical ahead of a move to the Hawthorns, which will bring to an end his 11-year association with his boyhood club.

Gilchrist's departure comes after he was linked with a number of Championship sides over the course of the summer transfer window.
Derby and Watford were previously touted as potential destinations for the 21-year-old, who impressed in the second tier last term.
He spent the 2024/25 campaign on loan at Sheffield United, featuring 32 times as the Blades reached the play-off final.
But it seems West Brom have now won the race to Gilchrist's signature, who recently found themselves the market for a new right-back.

On Thursday, Darnell Furlong left the Baggies to join Ipswich in a £4million deal, after six years with the West Midlands outfit.
And with Gilchrist capable of playing at both centre-back and right-back, he looks set to fill Furlong's shoes in Ryan Mason's side.
The imminent move will give the versatile defender the chance to establish himself as a regular starter, after finding first-team opportunities hard to come by at Stamford Bridge.
Gilchrist first joined the west Londoners' youth set-up as an 11-year-old in 2014, where he has since progressed through the ranks.
He made his first-team debut in December 2023, and went on to make 17 appearances in his breakthrough season.
This included netting his first goal for Chelsea, when he came off the bench to score in a 6-0 win over Everton.

But the 2023/24 campaign would prove to be his first and only season as part of the Blues' first-team plans, with his last game coming against West Ham in May last year.
And while Gilchrist looks to be on his way out of Chelsea, the club remain on the lookout for new signings.
Chelsea add Wharton to long-term list
talkSPORT understands one player they have recently added to their long-term targets is Crystal Palace star Adam Wharton.
With the summer transfer window set to close on Monday, a deal before then looks unlikely, but that isn't to say the Blues couldn't make a move for him further down the line.
The recruitment team at Stamford Bridge are believed to be huge admirers of the England international, who has caught the eye of several big name clubs.
talkSPORT reported earlier this month that Manchester United had set their sights on Wharton after being told Brighton's Carlos Baleba wasn't for sale.

It appears both Premier League sides have taken a liking to the 21-year-old following his impressive rise over the last 18 months.
Since joining Palace from Blackburn in January 2024, Wharton has helped his side to FA Cup and Community Shield glory.
He has also made his senior England debut during this time, and was included in the Three Lions' Euro 2024 squad.
It's fair to say Chelsea are no strangers to splashing the cash when it comes to securing their transfer targets.

The Blues have spent a total of £224m on new recruits this summer, including the high-profile arrivals of Joao Pedro, Liam Delap and Jamie Gittens in a bid to strengthen their forward line.
Meanwhile Palace will be desperate to hang onto Wharton for as long as they can after they lost talisman Eberechi Eze to Arsenal.
