FC 26 player ratings leak reveals huge upgrades & downgrades

The biggest is that after firing Liverpool to the Premier League title, Mohammed Salah is now rated 91, up from 89 in FC 25. Meanwhile, Erling Haaland and Rodri, who were both among the top-rated cards last year, have been knocked down to 90 after a difficult year for Manchester City.

PSG players have also benefited after winning the Champions League, with Ousmane Dembele jumping from 86 to 90, Achraf Hakimi going from 84 to 89, and Vitinha being boosted from 85 to 89. Elsewhere, teenage sensation Lamine Yamal has been handed a staggering 89-rated card, raising the 18-year-old from 81.

Further down the rankings, Cristiano Ronaldo has reportedly been pushed back to 85, marking the first time that Portugal legend hasn’t been a walkout (86 or higher). This is despite netting 25 times for Al Nassr in the league last season, but it’s likely more a reflection of his age, given that he turned 40 in February.

Ronaldo’s long-running rival, Lionel Messi, has also been demoted from 88, but he hangs onto his walkout status with an 86-rated card this time around, making him the best player in MLS.
