The Cowboys traded Micah Parsons to the Green Bay Packers this week, which means he’ll be saying goodbye to the NFC East.
And for the Giants, that means one of the league’s most formidable edge rushers will no longer be on their division rival.
After news broke on Thursday, some Giants players took to X to react.

“Ain’t AFC but I’ll take it,“ Right tackle Jermaine Eluemunor wrote with a laughing emoji.
Giants quarterback Russel Wilson also joined in.
“You know @MicahhParsons11 I went to Wisconsin @BadgerFootball…Anything you need in Wisco… Packing ur bags.. moving company… just let me know," Wilson wrote.
According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, the Cowboys sent Parsons to the Packers for defensive tackle Kenny Clark and two first-round picks. Green Bay then gave Parsons a four-year, $188 million contract extension, with $136 million guaranteed.
After the trade was announced, Parsons released a statement thanking Cowboys fans for their support.
“From the moment I arrived in Dallas, you embraced me and my family as your own,” Parsons said. “You made a kid from the East Coast feel right at home in Texas. Every time I pulled up to work, every time I stepped onto that field, I felt the weight and pride of representing you. You didn’t just give me a jersey, you gave me a place to belong.”
