Elche’s deal with Manchester United for Tyrell Malacia is no easy feat and has not been finalised as yet.
That’s according to journalist Joost Blaauwhof, who report that the Manchester United left-back still needs to reach a final agreement with the Spanish club.
He also reports that there two clubs still need to find an agreement over the Dutchman as well. Therefore, news that the deal has been finalised is definitely premature at this moment in time.
Malacia has been linked with a move away from Manchester United all summer after being placed in the so-called bomb squad by manager Ruben Amorim.
He is not a part of their plans moving forwards after the addition of Patrick Dorgu. The 26-year-old spent the second half of last season on loan at PSV Eindhoven, but they were not convinced to make the move a permanent one.
Reports had stated that Elche were close to securing him on a season-long loan deal and talks with Manchester United were underway.
It seems that Joost wants to pour cold water on that for the time being, though, insisting that finalising a deal will be no easy feat and talk of a deal being done are premature for the time being.
