Nuno Espirito Santo will hold clear-the-air talks with Nottingham Forest owner Evangelos Marinakis during the international break.
Prior to his team’s trip to face Crystal Palace a week ago, Nuno admitted his relationship with the Greek businessman had deteriorated. It came amid reports his position as Reds head coach was under threat.
Nuno and Marinakis have spoken on the phone since but will have a more in-depth conversation after Sunday’s clash with West Ham United at the City Ground (2pm kick-off). The former is certain the behind-the-scenes tensions can be resolved.
“We didn't have a chance (to talk) this week - it was a tough week for both of us with a lot of work and the president is currently in Monaco (for the UEFA draws),” Nuno said. “We have to talk.
“These kinds of things should be done in the right moment, and the right moment is after the game. Now we are focused on West Ham, then we have the international break and I think that is the right moment.
“Things are OK. We are working very hard to compete, this is what is really important. The talk will happen after the game.
“The president is a very busy man but he will come to the game and after the game we have an international break, which allows us to settle down. It's a different week in terms of preparations.

“It's the right moment to sit down, speak and share opinions and visions. That is the right moment. We had a talk on the phone and we said after the game it is the right moment to speak.”
Speculation about Nuno’s future at the club has swirled over the past week, with a number of names touted as potential replacements. Marinakis has today insisted he has a ‘solid relationship’ with his manager, and Nuno says he is ‘relaxed’ about the situation.
“I'm totally relaxed in that sense,” he said. “We need to have a talk about the future of the club, how we should address after the transfer market and all these things - what is the commitment to the club.
“Me and the president want the same thing. We want the best for Forest, that's for sure.”
Asked whether he expected to still be in charge after the international break, Nuno added: “Yes, I think so. I don't know how to answer that but I think so.”
