The NFL never runs out of drama. Just because the Green Bay Packers have already won the Micah Parsons sweepstakes, it doesn’t mean there’s already closure in the saga between him and his former team.
Just weeks into the 2025 NFL regular season, Parsons will have his revenge game against the Dallas Cowboys, who chose to send him away via a trade rather than give him the extension contract he had been seeking.

In a post on X on Thursday, Sunday Night Football on NBC reminded everyone of the scheduled collision of the Cowboys and the Packers at Parsons’ old stomping grounds, the AT&T Stadium in Arlington.
“Let’s hope Parsons stays healthy until then,” said a fan on X.
Another one said: “RIP to Dak Prescott on this date ”
From a commenter: “Micah with 4 sacks in the win”
“Lol, yeah this game just got a little bigger, just a little.,” a social media user posted.
Via a different commenter: “Oh the booing finna be legendary LMFAOOOO. Dallas gotta bring out the YNs for this one too”
Said another: “bout to be boos for jerry boos for micah boos for dallas this shit gonna be sickening in gonna be in full tears oh [expletive] no”
Before that highly-anticipated showdown against the Cowboys, Parsons and the Packers will kick off their 2025 campaign with a home game against the Detroit Lions, followed by a Week 2 meeting with the Washington Commanders, also at Lambeau Field. In Week 3,
Green Bay plays its first road game of the season, which is a duel versus the Cleveland Browns at Huntington Bank Field. Seeing Parsons and Browns star defensive end Myles Garrett try to one-up each other in the same game should be fun, but that’s not quite as dramatic as the former Penn State Nittany Lions star’s date with his first team in the NFL.
