Welcome to KUMB's latest transfer rumour round-up - five stories from around the web featuring players potentially on West Ham's shopping list, or current Hammers on the radar of other clubs...

Nayef Aguerd

West Ham's Moroccan defender is at the centre of a transfer tug of war with just over three days of the transfer window left to run.

Aguerd has previously indicated that he is keen to move on having endured an unhappy speel in east London and his wish appears set to be granted, with Ligue 1 Marseille leading the chase. However Premier League newcomers Sunderland are also keen to enhance their chances of staying in the top flight by signing the centre half, who spent last season on loan in Spain. The Black Cats' new Sporting Director, Florent Ghisolfi - previously of Roma, who were also linked with Aguerd previously - is driving their interest.

Patrick Wimmer

The "creative, technically skilled winger known for his dribbling, off-ball movement, and ability to create chances through both passing and shooting" is rumoured to be the latest player hoping to secure a last-minute move to West Ham.

The Austrian international, 24 years of age and with 24 caps to his name, currently represents Bundesliga outfit Wolfsburg having spent the last three seasons in Germany. Graham Potter is reported to be behind West Ham's interest having identified the winger, who is said to be keen on trying his luck in the Premier League, as the kind of creative player his squad is currently lacking. Winner is under contract with the Wolves until 2027.

Andy Irving

The midfielder is set to depart ahead of Monday's transfer window deadline having been told his is surplus to requirements at West Ham.

And current favourites to land the signature of the Scottish Pirlo are Championship newcomers Wrexham, who it is claimed have already agreed a deal to take the central midfielder from England to Wales - although fellow second tier side Millwall are also said to be keen to bring him in. Celtic, who saw a £2million offer rejected earlier this month, Borussia Monchengladbach, Stuttgart and Sturm Graz have also been linked with Irving during the current transfer window.

Quinten Timber

Feyenoord's Dutch midfielder could potentially be the THIRD central player to arrive at West Ham ahead of the transfer deadline.

West Ham have been working on a deal to sign the 24-year-old for some time now and it was though that the arrival of Mateus Fernandes and Soungoutou Magassa - who is set to be confirmed as a Hammer imminently (see below) - would scupper the deal. However a further sale - potentially of Tomas Soucek, who David Moyes is keen to reunite with at Everton - could open the door for TImber's arrival. Watch this space...

Soungoutou Magassa

Although an announcement is yet to take place, KUMB understands the deal to sign Monaco's 21-year-old midfielder is complete - despite an eleventh-hour bid from Eintracht Frankfurt to hijack the deal.

While Magassa's arrival is set to be confirmed after the cut-off point for him to be involved in Sunday's Premier League trip to Nottingham Forest, he is poised to become Graham Potter's second signing of the week following the arrival on Thursday of Mateus Fernandes from Southampton. £17million or thereabouts is the fee.
