Rayan Ait-Nouri has recovered from the ankle knck that saw him substituted in the first-half of the 2-0 home defeat against Spurs. Mateo Kovacic and Savinho both miss out again through injury.
Ederson is included in the squad despite on-going speculation about his future, with a move to Galatasaray still a possibility. James Trafford will hope to retain his place, despite a costly error against Spurs, after Pep Guardiola said it wouldn't affect the young keeper's confidence.
“Always we have the arms around their shoulders - the way we take care of them,” Guardiola said at Friday's press conference.
“What happened does not belong just to James. To James what happened with the second goal [against Spurs], he’s a strong man and huge personality.
“Of course he was concerned, and I wouldn’t want it any other way, but we are here to help in those moments.”
City lost their last game at the Amex 2-1, with Erling Haaland netting for the Blues. Overall City have won 21 of the 34 games played against the Seagulls, with 7 draws and 6 defeats.
Predicted line-up: Trafford, Nunes, Dias, Stones, Ait-Nouri, Rjeinders, Gonzalex, Silva, Foden, Bobb, Haaland
