Crystal Palace are eyeing a late move to sign Chelsea youngster Tyrique George, despite the forward having an offer from Roma, according to Sky Sports reporter Dharmesh Sheth.
The Eagles are in the market for new additions in the final third after allowing Eberechi Eze to leave the club earlier in the window, with the England international joining Arsenal. Oliver Glasner's side have confirmed the signing of Yeremi Pino from Villarreal, but they could be in the hunt for further reinforcements, especially as they look to tackle competing in Europe alongside domestic competitions.
Palace have, so far, confirmed the additions of Yeremi, Borna Sosa, and Walter Benitez, but there's no doubt Glasner and his recruitment team will be hoping for more in the coming days. The window slams shut on Monday evening, so they are running out of time to get new additions through the door at Selhurst Park.

According to Sky Sports journalist Sheth, Crystal Palace are one of the sides keeping an eye on Chelsea winger George's situation. Roma have made an offer to sign the youngster, with Chelsea's preference being a permanent sale this summer.
"AS Roma have made offer to sign Chelsea forward Tyrique George. He has a few options - Fulham & Crystal Palace thought to be keeping eye on his situation. Bayern Munich like him & have explored a loan. Chelsea preference is permanent deal."
George, described as 'explosive' by Breaking The Lines, appears to be heading out the door before the end of the window, with competition for places increasing in attack at Chelsea. The young winger will find it difficult to break into the starting XI at Chelsea, especially after the likes of Jamie Gittens and Joao Pedro were signed earlier in the transfer market.
GIVEMESPORT senior correspondent Fabrizio Romano has also confirmed that Chelsea have completed a deal to sign Manchester United winger Alejandro Garnacho, so it's no surprise that they are willing to offload George on a permanent deal. Although George wouldn't be a direct replacement for Eze, he fits the recruitment model of Palace, who predominantly sign young players with high potential.
