Jack Grealish has made the perfect start to life at Everton, and he might raise an eyebrow at the recent England squad.
Although it’s early days for the winger, he’s settling into life on Merseyside very nicely.
Two assists on his first Everton start paint the ideal picture for David Moyes, who is hoping to bring a resurgence to his career.
The plan is to bring the 29-year-old back into the England frame, as Grealish is playing with more freedom at Everton.
It wasn’t expected that the winger would get a call-up for England’s September fixtures, but Troy Deeney is baffled at how he didn’t, and another player did.

Troy Deeney confused why Marcus Rashford got in the England squad over Everton’s Jack Grealish
With his opening game at the Hill Dickinson Stadium presenting excitement for Everton’s future, if he keeps up this form, he’s bound to receive a call-up.
But another player who has gone through a similar struggle to Grealish is Marcus Rashford, as the former Manchester United man found his place in Tuchel’s set-up.
His move to Barcelona, like Grealish’s to Everton, is meant to present promise, but after playing 102 fewer minutes than the Everton winger in the season so far, Deeney has scratched his head at the decision.

“Rashford being involved. You know Jack’s (Grealish) not involved because he hasn’t played enough minutes,” Deeney said to talkSPORT.
“But Rashford, who has played less minutes, is involved?”
It’s certainly an interesting choice from Tuchel, who would have seen Grealish’s instant improvement as well.
Louis Saha thinks Grealish can get the England call-up, but there are positives to this news for the time being.
Everton will be relieved Jack Grealish misses England duty as injury chances decrease
Although it would have been great for the 29-year-old to gain some more confidence with an England call-up, this decision isn’t the end of the world.
The Toffees star can focus on improving himself at Finch Farm, whilst the risk of injury has lowered with him not in action, and he can build on his performance against Brighton.
Tuchel said Grealish is having an ‘impact’ at Everton, as the England manager will certainly consider the winger further down the line.
But for now, Grealish’s full interest will be in the Toffees, with him looking to progress on Merseyside.
