Mac Allister, Szoboszlai, Bradley dilemmas: Predicted Liverpool XI vs. Arsenal

Liverpool head coach Arne Slot will have close to a full-strength squad to select from for Sunday's Premier League blockbuster against Arsenal at Anfield.

The Reds are only missing Jeremie Frimpong due to injury right now - the Dutchman is out until after the international break due to a hamstring problem - and Slot has the best kind of dilemma in that position for the weekend.

Dominik Szoboszlai earned plaudits for his display at right-back in the recent 3-2 win over Newcastle United, but Slot may side with a more natural defender in Conor Bradley to keep either Gabriel Martinelli or Eberechi Eze as quiet as possible.

Bradley would line up alongside Ibrahima Konate, Virgil van Dijk, Milos Kerkez and Alisson Becker in an unchanged rearguard, although Slot will surely have to find a way to get Szoboszlai's relentless running into the team somehow.

As a result, even though Alexis Mac Allister is fit and available again, the Argentine may have to accept a place on the bench as Szoboszlai and Ryan Gravenberch form the champions' double pivot.

Szoboszlai is of course an option further forward, which would allow Slot to reintroduce the Gravenberch-Mac Allister pairing, but the Liverpool boss may be loath to alter his attacking pack right now.

Florian Wirtz is yet to show his best form in the Premier League, but the hosts' record signing is a certain starter alongside Hugo Ekitike and Mohamed Salah, while the in-form Cody Gakpo should not give up his place either.

Liverpool possible starting lineup:

Alisson; Bradley, Konate, Van Dijk, Kerkez; Szoboszlai, Gravenberch; Salah, Wirtz, Gakpo; Ekitike
