Wolverhampton are showing interest in Mohamed Amoura, with journalist [**Nabil Djellit**](https://x.com/Nabil_djellit/status/1961440641017147424) reporting that the Premier League side have been keeping an eye on the Algerian forward.
The situation comes after Benfica decided to invest their resources in Shakhtar Donetsk’s Georgiy Sudakov instead, with a package worth €27m plus €5m in bonuses and 20% of a future sale.
According to the local journalist, that was pretty much the same structure initially planned for Amoura, but the Portuguese club have now moved on, leaving Wolfsburg in control of the striker’s future.
Amoura featured in 34 games across all competitions last season, scoring 10 goals and delivering 12 assists – proving to be both a scorer and creator for the German side.
He has already started the new campaign brightly, finding the net in Wolfsburg’s opening Bundesliga game of 2025/26 – a 3-1 win against Heidenheim. That only strengthens his case as a valuable asset.
For Wolves, landing Amoura would mean trying to convince Wolfsburg to part ways with a player they are counting on. With the German side not under pressure to sell, the Premier League club may need to put serious money on the table to make it happen.
