Manchester United head coach Ruben Amorim has said the only way he and his players and can fix their current problems is by winning games.
United will be looking to produce a swift response to Wednesday night's shock Carabao Cup defeat to Grimsby Town when they face Burnley at Old Trafford in the Premier League on Saturday afternoon.
United were dumped out of the Carabao Cup by the League Two side after losing 12-11 at the end of a marathon penalty shootout. The contest had finished 2-2 at the end of 90 minutes.
As a result, Amorim is already under pressure to turn his side's fortunes around. United have failed to win any of their opening three games in league and cup this season.
With the first international break of the season almost upon us, and clashes with Manchester City (A) and Chelsea (H) coming immediately after the pause, United are under pressure to get three points against the Clarets.
And in the opinion of Amorim, the key to getting a positive result will be ensuring his side is up and at it from the very first whistle.
Penning his programme notes, Amorim said: "Today, as we welcome Scott Parker and his Burnley side, we need to give a response after Wednesday night's cup fixture.
"I can only say to our supporters that I am sorry. The better team on the night won the game and we got what we deserved.
"Everybody has to do better. Today, we have to show our intensity from the start.
"We need to go out into the pitch and show how we are capable of playing, because the only way we fix this is by winning games."
