Everton could still sanction a number of departures before Monday evening’s transfer cut off.
The start of the summer saw a host of players leave Everton at the end of their contracts and loan deals.
An agreement is in place for Nathan Patterson to leave Everton on loan, with Sevilla ready to take the Scotland international for the season.
In order to sanction the exit, David Moyes will need to see a direct replacement come through the doors.
Patterson is just one of the Everton players waiting to learn where their future lies ahead of Monday night.
Harrison Armstrong is set to join Preston North End, according to reports, with Moyes admitting clubs are keen to land the midfielder on loan.
One other player who could depart is striker Youssef Chermiti, who is in talks over a potential move north of the border.
Rangers want to sign Chermiti on loan from Everton, but the Toffees may want to learn from Tottenham Hotspur’s early concerns.

Everton’s Youssef Chermiti wanted by struggling Rangers
Moyes has said Chermiti has a good chance of leaving Everton over the coming days.
The Portuguese forward is in desperate need of regular minutes having seen his development halted after joining Everton.
Everton fans have been left baffled by Chermiti’s treatment on Merseyside, which has left him looking set to leave on loan to find
Kevin Thelwell is now the director of football up at Ibrox, which could well be why the Scottish giants are leading the pursuit of the 21-year-old.
However, a move to Rangers may have to be considered with some real caution.
Tottenham Hotspur have loaned out their young winger Mikey Moore to Rangers this summer, and he has already endured a difficult start in Glasgow.
Moore is expected to go on to become a top, top talent, but he has struggled for regular minutes in the early stages of his time at Rangers.

After initially awaiting to be cleared to play, the 18-year-old has made just one start in the last four games for the Gers.
Even in their Europa League drubbing earlier this week, Moore ended the game as an unused substitute.
With Rangers struggling for goals, Chermiti could land on his feet at Ibrox, but the Toffees must be aware of the growing concerns there may be over Tottenham’s on-loan star.
Youssef Chermiti needs regular minutes to develop
Last season, Moyes said he would hand minutes to Chermiti, but the player’s injury issues hindered his spell under the Scot.
Even though Moyes has been disappointed with Beto over the course of the summer, the 27-year-old remains ahead of Chermiti in the pecking order.
Clearly, for the youngster to play regular football, he will need to depart the Hill Dickinson Stadium ahead of Monday’s deadline.
But Everton will need to nail down the absolute best fit for Chermiti if he is going to come back in the summer having developed his game.
Everton target Hamza Igamane has now joined Lille, which could open the door to an opportunity in the starting XI for Chermiti.
